Study: Consuming A Healthy Diet While Pregnant Can Lower Risk of Heart Defects in Babies

Last month, a peer reviewed study showed that pregnant women who eat a very healthy diet can reduce the risk of heart defects in their baby, sometimes by as much as 37%.  According to the study authors, women and their babies benefited most from a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, whole grains and fish.
